Does Agile project management method creates high pressure environment?

Does Agile project management method creates high pressure environment?

I have been doing software development for 2 decades and been always in a
Waterfall environment.
I do see various opportunities but if company insist we are using AGILE
methodology, Should I assume it is a very high pressure environment?
The concept in Agile which makes me think twice is "Daily Stand ups". To
me this is similar to giving your manager "Daily reports".
Please reply with your actual experience not just theory , since I'm well
familiar with Agile theory.
